I’ve lost over 34kg and 74cm in total from my bust, waist and hips! On the left was me at my heaviest in January this year and this is me today. I’ve bought my first ever pair of pants with a pattern on them. Yes my arms are a bit flabby, my stomach isn’t quite there yet, but that’s okay, I’m almost 62, I’ve had two children and I’m step-mum to three more. I’ve tried every diet known to us and nothing works like this. Once you wrap your head around it, it becomes simple. I still have another 15kg to go before I’ll be around where I want to be. This is what happens when you trust the process. I feel so much better within myself than at the start of the year, back issues gone, osteoarthritis in my knee isn’t so bad anymore, my skin is better, more importantly my mind is more focused on my health, my sleep is fantastic, my sugar levels are normal instead of ridiculously high and Dr warned me to do something about it. When I started this journey I was extremely stressed, but I needed to do this for me and me alone. I heard something on a TV show this year and it resonated with me ‘I am equally important as everybody else’ How true if we don’t look after ourselves who will look after us?

The transformation of me with the guidance of Bridget Foliaki-Davis and Mahei. I have trusted the process, lost 40kgs and I am now down to 61.5kg. I was obese, I have a strong family history of strokes, I have a family history of hypertension and diabetes and cardiac issues. My health has improved significantly. My husband saw what was happening to me and jumped on board, and he lost 27kg in no time. It all felt too easy. But Bridget is right. Look after your gut health and the rest just follows. The process really works! I have now had my neck surgery and am slowly doing my rehab and my exercise regimen is on the up, not where it was, but slowly getting there.
