Rocket Fuel | Green Sauce

Gluten-free | Sugar-free | Dairy-free | No added fats or oils 

Makes 250 ml or 1 cup 

Why it’s delicious 

I don’t call this sauce rocket fuel for nothing! It gives a zip and zing 

to salads, vegetables, gut healing bowls, cooked meats and fish 

and is an absolute cinch to make. 

Ingredients 

  • 2 handfuls of rocket leaves 
  • 1 handful of fresh basil leaves 
  • ½ handful fresh mint leaves 
  • 2 tsp finely chopped fresh garlic 
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested 
  • ¾ tbsp nutritional yeast 
  • Good pinch each of Himalayan salt and freshly ground black pepper 
  • 60 ml (2 fl oz) water 

Method 

  1. Place all the ingredients in a small food processor and blend for 30-60 seconds until a cohesive sauce forms. 
  2. Store the sauce in a glass jar with a lid for up to 1 week in the fridge.
