Rocket Fuel | Green Sauce
Gluten-free | Sugar-free | Dairy-free | No added fats or oils
Makes 250 ml or 1 cup
Why it’s delicious
I don’t call this sauce rocket fuel for nothing! It gives a zip and zing
to salads, vegetables, gut healing bowls, cooked meats and fish
and is an absolute cinch to make.
Ingredients
- 2 handfuls of rocket leaves
- 1 handful of fresh basil leaves
- ½ handful fresh mint leaves
- 2 tsp finely chopped fresh garlic
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- ¾ tbsp nutritional yeast
- Good pinch each of Himalayan salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 60 ml (2 fl oz) water
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a small food processor and blend for 30-60 seconds until a cohesive sauce forms.
- Store the sauce in a glass jar with a lid for up to 1 week in the fridge.
