Apple Crisps | Snack Goals!

Why it's delicious

A lovely little healthy treat that speaks volumes in terms of snack food. Though not as perfect as a fresh green apple, they are an incredible treat without the guilt. 

Helpful hints + Tips

You will need an air fryer for this recipe and a mandolin (vegetable/fruit slicer) 

Ingredients

  • 2 small green apples, washed and cored
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • Pinch ginger
  • Pinch nutmeg

Method

  1. Using the mandolin with the finger guard, slice the apples wafer thin. Add the sliced apple to a bowl and add the spices. Toss the apples to to help distribute the spices. 
  2. Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes on 110C ( 230F) and then add the apples straight into the fryer basket and cook for 45 minutes, tossing the apples every 10 minutes as they slowly cook. 
  3. Your apples are ready when they are crisp. Best eaten immediately.
