TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR "WIN A 5-STAR WEEKEND FOR 2 IN SYDNEY" COMPETITION

AMENDMENT: As of 21st September 2024, the following changes have been made to the Terms and Conditions:

Eligibility

1.1 This competition is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

1.2 Employees, immediate family members of employees, and associates of Bridget's Healthy Kitchen (BHK) and its affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.

1.3 Entry is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions.

How to Enter

2.1 To enter, participants must pre-order a copy of Bridget's Healthy Delicious cookbook between 20 September 2024 and the official book release date (to be confirmed).

2.2 Multiple entries are permitted, with each separate pre-order transaction of Bridget's Healthy Delicious cookbook constituting one entry.

2.3 Entries must be received during the promotional period to be eligible.

Prize Details

3.1 The prize, valued at over $4,500 AUD, includes:

a) Two (2) return economy airfares from any major Australian or New Zealand city to Sydney. Blackout periods may apply during peak seasons and public holidays. Travel dates are subject to availability.

b) Two (2) nights' accommodation at a 5-star hotel in Sydney (twin share).

c) Daily gourmet breakfast for two (2).

d) VIP invitation to the official Sydney book launch for Bridget's Healthy Delicious. ** In the event that the prize is awarded on a date different from the book launch, any costs associated with attending the launch (including but not limited to travel and accommodation) will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

e) Private lunch experience with Bridget.

f) Airport transfers and private pick-up to and from the launch party.

3.2 The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

3.3 All elements of the prize are subject to availability and may be substituted at BHK's discretion.

3.4 Any additional expenses not specified in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner, including any additional taxes, fees, or surcharges. Travel insurance is not included.

Prize Draw and Notification

4.1 The prize draw will take place on the book's release date [to be confirmed]. This date will be announced publicly as soon as it is confirmed.

4.2 The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.

4.3 The winner will be announced during a Facebook Live event on the BHK Family private Facebook group and contacted via email within 24 hours of the announcement.

4.4 The winner must claim the prize within one week of notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture, and a redraw will occur.

Use of Personal Information

5.1 By entering this competition, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of conducting and promoting this competition, in accordance with BHK's Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

6.1 To the extent permitted by law, BHK and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss, expense, damage or injury incurred or sustained in connection with this competition or the prize.

Modification of Terms

7.1 BHK reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.

Governing Law

8.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Permits

9.1 This competition is classified as a trade promotion lottery under NSW law. As the total prize value is under $10,000, a permit is not required in NSW.

Additional Entry Conditions

10.1 Any attempt to manipulate the entry process by canceling and reordering pre-orders of Bridget's Healthy Delicious to gain additional entries into the competition will result in those entries being deemed null and void.

10.2 BHK reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who is found to have tampered with the entry process or engaged in any conduct that BHK determines, in its sole discretion, is unfair or contrary to the spirit of the competition.

10.3 All decisions made by BHK regarding entry eligibility are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering this competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions, including the amendment.
