How to lose weight naturally by celebrity chef Bridget Foliaki-Davis who lost 35kgs (77lbs) in 5 1/2 months without strenuous exercise
ADVERTORIAL
Eventually we become sick of being sick.
It is often pain, pain of how we look, pain of how we feel and pain that our body is experiencing that forces us to do something.
My story was one of great pain both physically and mentally as my body and mind began to revolt against the constant rubbish I was feeding it.
I was lazy in my actions, lazy in my thinking and stubborn in my beliefs.
I can not recall another time in my life where I felt so miserable.
I had no reason to feel this way as I was living a beautiful life with a wonderful family, adoring husband, a warm safe home and many friends and family who loved me, yet I hated myself, I hated who I had become and I hated my life.
I was sick of being sick. The pain was no longer able to be ignored.
If you are reading this, maybe something I am saying resonates with you.
Maybe you are overweight and sick and that sickness that you are feeling and experiencing has manifested itself to affect every aspect of your life, as mine did.
Sickness is both physically conforming as our weight increases and our physical health decreases but it also sits in our soul as we become someone we no longer recognise who is reclusive and has withdrawn from life.
Getting help is not hard, starting is hard.
When we have ignored our pain for such a long time it may seem like an overwhelming task that lies ahead of us, so overwhelming that we don't know where to start.
I can tell you where I started and what helped me and what has now led me to be experiencing life on my terms and be the healthiest, the fittest and the happiest I have ever been.
I took one small step.
I decided to make my next meal a healthy one.
I did not focus on the big picture because the big picture scared me.
I did what I could do right there and then and that was to take one small step forward and choose a healthy meal.
That healthy meal led to another one, and then another and another until I had amassed a collection of delicious recipes that I could happily eat that wasn't just helping me to lose weight but it was also helping me to feel less pain as my body began to respond to the healthy changes.
I lost 30 kg (66 lbs) in 5 ½ months which I have kept off for over 5 years now.
The rest as they say is history as that one healthy meal has seen me create and share hundreds and hundreds of healthy recipes with this community and write 4 healthy cookbooks in less than 4 years.
It has also led me to study nutrition and the science of how our bodies work so I can share this knowledge with anyone whose pain has caused them to be ready to listen.
That one small step has led me to you and led me to help thousands and thousands of people with their journey who also decided to take one small step.
The impact of that one small step that I took over 4 years ago, that decision that I made to make my next meal healthy has changed so many lives all around the world including my own which I am eternally grateful for.
I am literally a shadow of myself in every way.
My body is strong, my mind and soul is stronger and this incredible community that has be born out of our pain and being sick of being sick, is stronger than ever.
Imagine what might happen if you took one small step to take back control of your health?

Hi Ababel,
Although a lot of Boost Camp recipes are plant-based and dairy-free, Boost Camp isn’t designed to cater to the needs of the vegan diet, I’m afraid. Boost Camp uses a whole foods approach with some ingredients required for nutritional balance that does not fit in with the vegan lifestyle/diet.
Boost Camp may cater towards a vegetarian diet with options provided to replace the protein following a list of approved foods that can be eaten while you are on Boost Camp.
Hi Bridget,
I am vegan. Do you do vegan boost camp?
